Oily skin is all shiny and dull colored and much painful to deal. The excess oil accumulated on the outer layer of the skin leads to the growth of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and all skin irritations.  It has large pores and the skin has a harsh texture. 
         On the other hand, oily skin gets less wrinkles. So in this it is not all that bad. But it is true that it is difficult to maintain.

Now big question ahead. How to treat oily skin. So no worries at all. Follow these natural tips and find silky and smooth texture.
  • Clean your faceClean your face at least 3-4 times a day with glycerine soap. Gently pat dry. It romoves all dirts and oil from your face. This will turn away the pores and keep your skin elegant and graceful. Washing with cool water is more fruitful than using chemicals on four skin.
  • Apply Aloevera gelApply Aloevera gel to your face minimum 2 times daily to absorb oil and clear pores.
  • Do not rub your faceDo not rub while cleaning your face. If you do you will tab it from its natural oil and dry out your skin. Always mosturize your skin.
  • Use gentle cleanersUse gentle pH balanced,slightly acidic cleaners that will dissolves access oils without damaging skin,s natural mantle, which protects against bacteria.
  • Rub fruit on your face : Rub papaya or watermelon on your face to reduce oilness. To avoid side effects always use herbal products and home treatments.
  • Keep your skin clean : Carry oil absorbing tissues to wipe away oil whenever necessary.
  • Follow healthy diet style : Include rich protein food in your daily diet. You must have lots of vegetables and fruits in your diet.
  • Drink more water : Your skin will produce more sebum if it is dehydrated to keep itself lubricated.
  • Stay away of junc foodStay away of chocolates, junc food, spicy street food, alcohal etc.
  • Try to exfoliate your skin It will scrub off dead cells.Sometimes even make your pores appear smaller.2-3 exfoliation session is enough for oily skin.
  • Your skin is an important part of your body : It can be affected by environment,your stress,diet style, lifestyle, products you use. All these factors are able to make change your skin type. Remove your all make up before sleeping.
  • Last but not the least,one of the most important things you can do is to keep skin healthy. During your periods your entire body faces a hit with raging hormone levels. That also affects your skin.

How to find your skin type






Since skin is the largest organ in our body, caring for it should be at the top of our health routine. Finding our skin type is an important task but it can be quite confusing for most of us. It is a fundamental information in finding the right care for our skin, and what are the cosmetics that we can use. These are the building blocks of an ever-glowing and radiant skin.

Following steps have been proven time and again based on their simplicity and efficiency:

Makeup Removal Wash your face with gentle cleanser or face wash and pat dry. This washes away oils and dirt from your face. After you wash your face, do not apply any cream on your face.

Keep it Natural During this period, do not touch your face. After one hour your skin will return to its natural stature. Now which attribute you see, will determine your skin type.

Treat with care Gently Pat your face with a cotton tissue. Focus on your T Zone area (forehead and nose). This increases the blood flow and helps in overall skin health.

Our skin can be categorized in following five skin types: 

  • Normal skin : If you feel agile and graceful and there is no sign of oil and patch on your face. It indicates have normal skin. You might consider yourself lucky. ;)
  • Dry skin : If your skin gets tight and uncomfortable and shows flakes of dead skin. It is associated with small pores. It means your skin type is dry.
  • Oily skin : If your cotton tissue becomes greasy and oily. Your skin shines and large pores is visible. It means your skin type is oily.
  • Combination skin: This type of skin is most common among Indian tone. It is mix type of all three of the above skin types. The skin remains oily in the T Zone area and normal in dry zone.
  • Sensitive skin : This type of skin might appear pale and uncomfortable. Whenever you apply any make-up; It reacts easily to skin and becomes red and patchy. This type needs additional care.

You must know your skin type. There are 5 basic skin types. 

  • Normal Skin
This is the best skin type cause it is well hydrated and smooth.Such type of skin remains problem free.So it needs minimum care.This skin looks clean and pretty and has a glowing complexion always.



  • Dry Skin
      Such type of skin looks eccentric with dry patches.It usually remains tight and  

uncomfortable after washing.Since this type of skin is dry so it can reflect a pale and sickly  tone.But do not worry, with proper skin care you can fight against dryness and you can have well hydrated and soft skin.
I must say there is one speciality with this dry skin.In such type of skin pours are almost invisible.

  • Oily Skin
      This is the shiniest type of skin.This skin always looks sebaceous, soiled and complete oily.This skin needs extra

care.Since this skin remains oily you have to wash your face per hour.You do not have to use harsh product.The best part of this type of skin, you do not get wrinkes still in your late forties.So you may enjoy with your youthfulness.


  • Combination Skin
      Generally combination skin is supposed good in fashion.In this type of skin you have dry patches near the cheeks and eyes.This portion is called dry zone.On the other hand in your T Zone (forehead,nose,chin )you will have oily patches.



  • Sensitive Skin

It would be more difficult to say about this type of skin.Because it is a skin type of its own.This is typically delicate skin that effects easily temperature changes ,that burns easily in sun exposure and with highly allergic reactions.

How to care skin

No wonder you do not get much time for intensive skin care? But do not worry here I am with some  super special tips. Now you can pamper your skin. Some care and healthy lifestyle choices can help delay the natural aging process and prevent various skin problems. 


  • After taking bath apply Aloevera juice on your wet face gently. There are so many Aloevera cosmetics products in market. It would be much better if you get Aloevera plant in your home. Take 2 inches Aloevera leaf, cut into 2 pieces and apply pulp gently on your face. Wait for a while and let it dry up. It protects your skin from scorching sunlight. Always protect yourself from the sun. Aloevera pulp is one of the best sunscreens.
  • Stay away of hard soaps and cosmetics. It steals skin's natural glow. You may apply natural ubtans instead of soaps, gel or face wash. Get some besan (gram flour), raw milk and pinch of turmaric. Apply this paste on your face and neck. Let it dry and rinse off with lukewarm water.
  • Stop smoking. Smoking makes you look older. When you inhale while smoking, it can contribute to wrinkles. Smoking damages collagen and elastin that give your skin strength and elasticity.
  • Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, sprouts. To encourage healthy skin your diet style should be controlled.
  • You must control your stress.Your body, your face reflects your mental condition. Sound sleep is very important part of healthy lifestyle. Everyday 7-8 hours sleep is must for adults.
